Call for Abstracts (Poster only)
Cochrane’s mission is to promote evidence-informed health decision-making by producing high-quality, relevant, accessible systematic reviews and other synthesized research evidence. With this in mind, you are to submit abstracts in the following categories:
- Searching and information retrieval
- Systematic reviews
- Diagnostic test accuracy review methods
- Qualitative evidence synthesis methodology
- Network meta-analysis
- Statistical methods
- Knowledge translation
- Inclusion of non-randomized designs
- Investigating bias
- Shared decision-making
- Education and training
- Others
Submission Information
Instructions for abstracts
- Deadline of abstracts submission: 13 August 2019, 23:59 UTC.
- Only abstracts submitted in English will be considered.
- The abstract title should not be more than 20 words.
- Abstracts must not be more than 500 words.
- The abstract should be formatted as the following structure: Title of the Abstract, Background & Aims, Methods, Results, Significance/Impacts/Implications.
- If abbreviations are used, the abbreviated term should be written in full at first appearance.

- Click here to download the abstract submission form. All authors should be listed. Please email the completed abstract submission form to cochranetaiwan@tmu.edu.tw.
- After abstract submitted, you will receive an email to confirm your abstract submission. (Please allow up to 3 business days to receive this email).
- If you do not receive an email, or if inquiry related to abstract, please email to cochranetaiwan@tmu.edu.tw.
Acceptance and notification of abstracts
- Submissions will be judged on their originality, clarity, scientific quality and their level of relevance to diversity and patient/ healthcare consumers.
- Acceptance and notification of abstracts: 31 Aug 2019.
