VP of Academic AI

Guy Ben Porat leads the Academic AI Platform team at Clarivate's Academic & Government segment, where he accelerates the introduction of academic AI initiatives into the product portfolio.

Prior to this role, Guy headed the Discovery & Delivery business unit at Ex Libris for six years, overseeing the development and success of Primo, Summon, and CDI. Previously, Guy served as the VP of R&D for the Ex Libris Learning and Research Solutions business unit, where he spearheaded the development of Leganto, Esploro, and various Discovery products. Guy joined Ex Libris in 2004 as the company's first Java developer.

With a strong technology background, Guy has led the adoption of new technologies over the years and played a pivotal role in the development of Primo, Rosetta, Alma, and Leganto.
