Professional Biography – Scott Winslow
Title: Principal, Academic and Government Consulting
Role: Scott is responsible for helping academic leaders with by providing advice on research strategy, decision support and tactical implementation, across the whole of the research enterprise. Scott leverages the wealth of data and insight found in Web of Science and other Clarivate data assets to help Provosts and VPRs achieve their institutional research goals - from securing funding and finding collaborators through to publication and commercialization.

Professional Background
Prior to joining Clarivate, Scott spent six (6) years at EAB (The Education Advisory Board) helping Provosts, CIOs, Chief Business Officers and Vice Provost for Research diagnose the challenges they are facing and identify and advance strategies and tactics for addressing them in areas ranging from process improvement, budget model design, academic efficiency, data governance, project prioritization, organizational design and talent management.
He also served in the Obama Administration as the Executive Director of the President’s Management Advisory Board, charged with identifying and implementing improvements in operations, efficiency and effectiveness across the federal agencies.
Education
Scott Winslow earned a B.A. in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. His MBA is from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
